Welcome to the South Hills Soccer Association

The South Hills Soccer Association (SHSA) is proud to be one of the largest recreational youth soccer organizations in the Kanawha Valley, serving hundreds of players and families each year. As a member of the Kanawha Valley Soccer League (KVSL), SHSA is committed to providing a fun, safe, and development-focused soccer experience for children of all skill levels.

For more than 25 years, SHSA has introduced young athletes to the game of soccer while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and player development. Our association is entirely volunteer-driven, with dedicated board members, coaches, referees, and families working together to create a positive environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Our home facility, The Fields at Trace Fork, serves as the home of SHSA and provides a welcoming environment where players, families, coaches, and officials come together throughout the year. It is here that lifelong friendships are formed, teamwork is developed, and a love for the game begins.

SHSA offers recreational soccer divisions from U4 through U12 during the Fall season, with a U14 Spring season available for eligible players. Our recreational program is designed to provide age-appropriate instruction and competition while ensuring every player has the opportunity to participate, develop new skills, and build confidence.

Registration for each season typically opens approximately six weeks before the first scheduled practice. Registration, schedules, important dates, league announcements, field status updates, and other resources are available on our website and are updated regularly throughout the season.
